Robohands – Shapes

‘Shapes’, the third album from the London-based instrumentalist-composer-producer-extraordinaire, was initially planned to be recorded in full at Buffalo Studios with producer JP Pilon in Limehouse, London. While much of the record, including all of the drumming, was completed there, the COVID-19 pandemic forced Baxter to get creative and flex his talents as an engineer. Baxter, who has become obsessed with gear and the technical side of the creative process, just as much as with being a well-versed composer and musician, was able to finish the remainder of the record at his flat in London. High Pulp – Mutual Attraction Vol. 1

It’s simple, really. I love music. I launched the KU label so I could release the music I want to hear. And while this remains the same, I’ve built a platform for the artists I work with. I’ve created a space where you can learn more about the KU collective, our music and my curation. High Pulp – Bad Juice

High Pulp are an 8-piece band that emerged from the Royal Room, a legendary Seattle Jazz club where they held “Funk Church” jam sessions in 2017. Their signature sound is a Psychedelic fusion of Hip-Hop, Funk, Jazz, and Soul which come together with complex, well thought out arrangements and progressive style.
